What is Business Excellence?
Business Excellence is defined as outstanding practices for managing organisations and achieving results, based on a set of fundamental concepts. The Malaysia Business Excellence Framework (MBEF) is a holistic, non-prescriptive assessment framework developed by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).
Since 1990, Malaysia's Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has been organising the Prime Minister's Industry Excellence Award using MBEF as its sole assessment tool, based on internationally comparable frameworks from the Global Excellence Model (GEM) Council.
