Asia Pacific Quality Organization
The Asia Pacific Quality Organization is an autonomous, non-political, and non-profit organization focused on scientific and technical matters. It is headquartered in the Asia Pacific region and includes countries in Asia and those located near the Pacific Rim.
APQO's vision is to be recognized as the universal prime mover in continuously improving the quality of not only goods and services but also the quality of life for people worldwide. APQO has successfully promoted a yearly international conference in the Asia Pacific.

Award Categories
Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA)
The only formal international recognition for business excellence. GPEA aims to bridge the cultural, geographic, and economic gaps between National Quality Awards.
Awards for Contributing to Excellence (ACE)
A highly participative and interactive team excellence competition designed to recognise teams that demonstrate common values and goals, combining talents and skills to achieve new levels of performance.
APQO Innovation Class
Awards for Organizational Innovation to remain competitive in the evolving global marketplace.
APQO International Best Practice
Introduced in 2019, provides opportunity to GPEA Applicants to participate at competition for recognition of Best Practices and share them at the APQO International Conference.
APQO International Individual Awards
Including the prestigious Harrington/Ishikawa Quality Professional Award, managed and judged exclusively by an APQO panel. Nominees must be proposed by an APQO member organization.
Best Practice Sharing Session
We call all Quality Excellence Teams, Quality Practitioners and Senior Leaders to present and share your successful stories about transforming programs, systems or projects at the 31st APQO IC 2026 in Bali, Indonesia.
